I have done this before but today for some reason, I can't get the new font I downloaded to work. Here is what I did:
I downloaded the file, then extracted it from the zipped folder. I put it in the windows > fonts. I rebooted the computer and checked the windows>fonts folder and the Darrian's Frames font files are there in the fonts folder - listed with all the other fonts. They do not show up on my list of fonts available in PSE4 nor in my Word fonts choices. They also don't show up in the Free and Easy Font Viewer list. Why? What did I do wrong?
Thanks for your help! Anne

Anne - I think that is right. That is what I do. I would try again. I find with this programme, as with computers, things often work the second time round - who know why!!! Sorry can't be more help.

Thanks Shari - It didn't work yet. It really makes no sense to me. The problem isn't only in Elements, but in word and the font program too. I think I didn't install the new fonts correctly. Anyone?????

The proper way to load a font is to go to the contol panel from the start button. Double click on the font icon, then select File > install new font. A dialog box will open, navigate to the folder you unzipped the font into and it will appear in the list of fonts in the dialog box. Select the font(s) and click OK. Make sure that the checkbox to copy the font to the

Sorry miskeyed and it posted. The rest of the instructions are to make sure the copy to font folder is checked prior to clicking on OK.

I always unzip it straight into my font folder in windows.

Try here... this is where I got mine. :) They have bunches of font frames.
