Greetings! Have been trying to get to grips with Premiere Elements and have successfully 'produced' several projects. Having a problem with the latest one, though, in that when I export it back to tape in my camcorder (which is the way I always export with no previous problems) it only records about 30 seconds of the 40 minute movie and then stops, giving the message "Recording Successful". ?????????

I am desperate to get this done for a family gathering over the next few days. Anyone able to help?

Make sure it's not simply rendering the workbar area on your output. That would cause the symptoms you describe since it's not an error message. Just double click the workbar area to ensure that it stretches the entire length of your project.

Cheers!

The Workbar? Is that the bit where the timeline indicator moves across?

Here's a link to the first image as it's a little large to post here without making the page go all wonkey.

This picture shows the dialog box where you can check to see if the issue is workbar related.

I think this is probably your issue since the message you get says the output is successful. If it were a bug, it'd probably not be a positive message.

Cheers

Wonderful! Thanks Greg. I must say I find this forum a lot easier to use than the one at adobe.com. Glad I found you all!
