If you think you can shoot and edit video with the best of them, or even with the only so-so of them  how about showing the world your skills in a weekly video challenge? The process is simple. Each week a new challenge will be posted along with the entrants from the prior week's challenge. A poll will accompany the entries (no more than six entries each week) and everyone votes for their favorite entry. Once the votes are tabulated, the winner goes into the Hall of Fame and all the glory the internet has to offer. :D

It's just that easy. You can find out more information along with the rules for the REP CHALLENGE (http://repchallenge.blogspot.com/2006/07/wednesday-feature.html) over at Reno Digital (http://renodigital.blogspot.com).

Ok, so what's the REP CHALLENGE for week one? The Fourth of July.

Good luck and happy shooting.

And just to make it clear, this is NOT some spammy, commercial venture. This is my own little attempt to start building a fun, creative editing community around Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 and to a lesser degree Photoshop Elements as it relates to the video editing aspects of Premiere since that gets alot of use by video editors. I don't intend for it to replace cool, helpful forums like this, I really hope it can act as a catalyst for everyone involved.

So I'm sorry if anyone thought this was a cheap attempt to simply advertise some fake site or something. That was definitely not my intention and if you do happen to visit the site, I think it's fairly safe to say that it's not only NOT a spam outfit, it doesn't even currently have any advertising. It's all my own blood, sweat, money and time. I wouldn't plaster my real name and personal E-Mail address on every user forum I'm a member of if I were just a spammer.

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing your entries. Plus, I'm always interested in feedback so don't hesitate to shoot me an email.
