I want to be able to take a selected, copied image from a photo and insert it elsewhere, but I always get a white background around the pasted image. For example, I make my own greeting cards and like to put faces in some of the graphics but the white frame ruins the effect. What can I do to eliminate this?

I think that we need a little more information ...

By white frame around it do you mean a thin white line around it or do you mean that there is a white square around it?
