Here's my attempt at the sketch video. Didn't have any good people portraits, so I used a pet.

Nancy I think yours would look great if you left the flowers coloured and Sophie as a sketch. It's beautiful.

Thanks.. I took the photo a few weeks back at a family picnic. The little guy was so intent on not dropping his egg. :)

I haven't even look at the video yet, but these images all look great. Especially love your cat Wendy...........and Sophie is beautiful Nancy. Excellent suggestion from Pauline......if you do that post it, I'd love to see it. I'd like to try something similar if I can find/or take the right shot for it.

All of you have done such a wonderful job with this sketch effect! Pictures of children just pull at my heartstrings, and I think this particular effect is especially perfect for them! Great work, every one of you!

Lol Gary:)

I had babies along time ago:) My Baby is 19 now.

That picture is of my grandson age 3 there (he will be 6 in a couple of weeks)
and my moose who's 3 now. I also have another grandson who turned 2 yesterday...

Now that I've given my age away someone make me a virtual rocking chair

I'm still waiting on that rocking chair :)

Kimi,

I really like the extra color in your sketch, I'm going to have to try that with my pooch and
see how he looks, very nice job!

Here is my try on the sketch video. I am trying the pixentral thumbnail thing. I dont know if it will work, but here goes...
http://www.pixentral.com/hosted/1DmWiyWxDfm7vEAb0toKH0WxzU56KL1_thumb.jpg (http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1DmWiyWxDfm7vEAb0toKH0WxzU56KL1)

I think I need to make my picture a little smaller before I send it to pixentral!

Wendy
July 4th, 2006, 03:13 AM
Oh that is good ... It almost looks like a poster !! :)

(I have found that the best size for Pixentral seems to be around 700 to 750 pixels for the longest side :) )

Well - here I go again :o ...What is a font frame and where did you find it? How do you do one? Yours is wonderful, Kimi!!! I must have REALLY missed a lot when I was away!!!

My attempt at the sketch tut is in my gallery - The Tower Bridge in London.

Andie someone posted a lovely picture and they said they had applied a font frame. None of us knew what that was. It turns out it is a downloaded font that when you type, it makes a frame. I'm sorry I don't remember where we found it. I have two if you want to do a search.

Darrians Frames
KR Deco Frames (Sophia is in one of these)

I erased her picture from under the frame and added a black background.
Oh, and a metal style effect.
