I take pictures for a local community theater. The kids just put on a show of "The Hobbit". There was one scene that was flooded with red light. I tried to enhance it by using "adjust color variations" but didn't have a whole lot of success. I posted a copy of the picture at the link below. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is it just too saturated to do anything with it?

Sorry I can't access your image ... there seems to be a problem with Pixentral.
Try this:
Open up your image
Enhance>Adjust Brightness & Contrast>Levels
Pick up the "Set White point" ... bottom right hand side (like a little colour picker) and click on something in your image that you know is white.
Pick up the "Set Black point" ... and click on something in your image that you know is black.
Pick up the "Set Gray point" ... and click on something in your image that you know is a mid gray (or neutral) colour.
Keep your fingers crossed :) ... and click on OK.
If Pixentral sorts itself out and I am able to view your image ... I will see what else I can do with it.

OK ... I have now had a chance to look at your image:
Try this:
Open up your image
Enhance>Adjust Brightness & Contrast>Levels
At the top of the Levels pop up box you will see Channels
Change it from RGB to Red ... and adjust (see the example) ... this one only needs a very small adjustment to the white triangular slider.
Change to Green ... and adjust, if you look at the example you will see where I have moved the white slider to.
Change to Blue ... and adjust just as I have done in the example.
I doubt that you will get a perfect result but at least most of the colour caste is now gone.

You could go to ENHANCE and adjust hue and saturation and try to fix it that way but YA too much red is right. There are other ways but not sure how to explain them better than people have already done.
