can't burn project

Hi, I tried to follow your advice from burning a project (07-03-2005) got as far as copying (ctrl+c) but could not paste media files to new project:confused: would appreciate your help, Glenn in Ireland.

I am not sure of your details, but as a first try:

Simple Case Example: If you copy a photo (jpeg) in My Pictures using Control c, then go to Premiere Elements 2.0 to paste that photo in the Media Panel, do you click on the Media Panel before going to the Edit Menu/Paste? As an alternative, have you tried the Get Media route in Premiere Elements?

If you have special circumstances and prior history discussing this with tfry, please excuse my questions.

You can't copy and paste between projects in Premiere Elements 2, only Premiere Elements 1. In version 2 they turned it off because they couldn't get it working right during testing.

You really did not say whether you are working with Premiere Elements 1.0 or 2.0. Although there are a lot of similaritities between the two, there are those challenging differences. Note Chuck Engels response to your post.

If you are working with 2.0, then your question is answered. If 1.0, then your question is not answered and complicated by the corrupted file with which you are trying to work.
