I was watching the Day 18 video, and towards the end, Matt is working with a waterfall picture, erasing parts of a layer that was made too light with a blend mode. I noticed that his brush shape appeared to change and I wasn't sure if this was a function of the recording, or if perhaps there was a keyboard shortcut for doing this. Two screenshots are below:

Thanks!

Mike,
You made me go and rewatch the video and then I tried it out for myself. His brush shape appears to go elliptical as it gets to the edge of the image. I haven't been able to duplicate this, and suspect it may be something to do with the recording.

Hi Mike ...
I think that its the recording ... I certainly am not aware of a shortcut to actually change the brush shape.
Hovever there are some odd shortcuts for brushes try experimenting with the < and > keys (they change the brush size ... just like the [ & ] keys do)
... and the . key selects the next brush in the set, the , key selects the previous brush in the set.
Shift , and Shift . go to the first or last brush in the set
so many shortcuts :)
