down loads

Alot of neat down loads in the subscriber area. i down loaded one of JO'S frames and i dont know how to get it to work in pse 4. help please.:)

Hi Wendy. sorry ive been gone all day. the down load was from the subscriber area here. frame styles. by jodie frye

Oh Hi Bob ....

What you do is unzip the file and you will get PET_Frames_Styles.asl ...

Close down Elements .. go to your Elements folder, find the Presets Folder ... inside that you will find a whole series of folders. It goes in the one called Styles.

Restart Elements and yoi will find the frames in your layers styles ... :)

wendy. all is well. 4 frames in operation. NOW. I DON'T know IF I SHOULD HAVE. but i did put grants tools in there also.??? this is pse4.should i take them out? i can't find them in the program but their in the preset folder.:confused: let me know. thanks for your help

Grant's tools don't go in there ... the instructions are a bit more complicated.

I was going to give you a link to Grant's instructions but there seen to be a problem with his site at the moment ... so I will check it out tomorrow for you :)

I hope I did not do any thing wrong when i tried to answer the frame question? any way,Iwas waiting to see if you had found about grants site? also I wanted to share my attemp at your "simple spotlight beam" coupled with one of Jo"s frames.I see your busy helping people as usual. so if you come this way let me know:)

I'm afraid that Grant's site is still down .. I was hoping that it might have been working by now but it isn't :( Lets keep our fingers crossed that it gets sorted out tomorrow :)
