Hello,
The original photograph which I received in slide show sent to me yesterday was taken by Eric Miller of Reuters. I think it is a wonderful shot, I have no idea what the animal is or where it was taken.
I couldn't resist giving it a buzz just to see how it would turn out.
Comments welcome.
Kev.

Kev, I like the original and the "buzzed" image. The original shows the animal as it would have come out of the water but your "buzzed" imaged shows it after it has shaken itself ;)

Hi Karen,
I'm glad you like it.
You're thinking outside the box, I never thought of that. Still I've always been a bit thick:D

I think it's a rabbit. Very cool Kev.

Kev, I think the buzzed version is a lot nicer.....it just gives a subtle touch of softness to it. If you go easy with this filter it's a bit like using the smudge brush........but with a LOT less work.:D

Hi Kev ...

Oh that is just so good ... :)

So good that I now think that I will get the magazine and see if it does work on the Mac :)

Norm,
Glad you like it. To use an English expression - "It looks like a drowned rat".

Robyn,
the blurb they give on the home page is true.
It does work and it doesn't need any real skill just care and patience.

I like the buzzed one better - looks like a childrens storybook illustration.

Wendy,

Just looked on their website, and it seems as though buZZ does work on a Mac.

""For Mac:
Select and double click “buZZ.X Install.sit” and it will self extract, asking you where you wish to place the buZZ.X Install Folder.

Once the unstuff process has been successful go to where you have placed the buZZ.X Install Folder and you will see a folder and a text files. Copy the folder into the filters folder of your image-editor. This is commonly your editor’s Plug-ins/Filters folder.

Now open your image editor and make sure your additional plug-ins folder is highlighted. (e.g. Open Adobe Photoshop CS and click Edit > Preferences > Plug-ins and Scratch Discs. Then click “choose” and search for the buZZ folder. Make sure the buZZ folder is highlighted and then click “OK”. Close and restart your image editor to save the settings.)

buZZ should now appear in the filters menu of your image editor""

The effects are really interesting!

Cheers,
Helen
