Hi Kev,

Just a couple of 'quickies' to let you know that I think the buzz simplifier is wonderful - what a great plug-in. I'll try and do something a bit more creative with it in the next day or so when I become a bit more familiar with it.:) With the Woolmers one I used it on the background and then put a photo tint over it.

Robyn, they are great, particularly the Woolmer's Estate one with the three selections. I take it you think the plug-in is worth the money?

Robyn,
glad you're enjoying Buzzing.
Alas, I can't look at your creation as there is no thumbnail in your post.
Kev:confused: :)

Kev,......they were there with Pixentral. But they've vanished....I couldn't get into that site just now either. Stick around for a couple of minutes and I'll re post them on ImageShack.

Robyn,
they look good to me.
Wonderful plug in, isn't it. The possibilities seem endless. I have quite a lot of studying of the manual to do, especially no: 3 where you can adjust different areas!
Looking forward to seeing more buzzed images from you.
Kev.

Oh, Robyn, they are all wonderful.......the garden is just beautiful and what a great idea to use the buzz and the tutorial from Matt....I just love them both....and Oliver....he really should be in advertisements....he is probably the most photogenic (probably spelled wrong, but you know what I mean) dog I have ever seen. He is very regal!!!

As always, you have done a superb job!!!!

Thank you very much Colleen.

Yes, I think Oliver is gorgeous. Funny thing is he absolutely hates getting his photo taken......gets all 'funny' and won't look at me........but yesterday I just sat (and lay) down in our backyard and just waited until he came to me and realised that I wasn't 'up to anything' and he then he just relaxed. I think I got a couple of really nice shots.

Robyn,

They're brilliant! I've downloaded the trial plugin but haven't had a chance to read the pdf manual yet - I didn't want to jump straight in as is my usual fashion! You & Kev make it look so simple & effortless:)

Bayla.......I've just jumped right on in - as usual. I haven't read the manual or anything yet. I don't think it looks very involved though, but perhaps when I have read it, I'll know how to finetune it. As Kev has said, it has a lot of possibilities.

Robyn, all the BuZZ's are wonderful and Oliver is truly gorgeous.

I chuckled when I read the part abotut him "getting all 'funny' & won't look at me." My dog does that too. She will turn her head away, then if I turn her face towards me, she rolls her eyes & looks heavenward as if to say, "Please God, make her stop." I wonder why some dogs do that? Where's "The Dog Whisperer" when you need him?

Wendy, thanks so much. I will pick that up this afternoon. I have a contract to go and deal with at work. (sigh, work is interfering with my PSE time)

Can I bother you with one more question?? I am not very good at the downloading part. Can you tell me where I have to install a plug in??

You convinced me to finally give this a try. This is one of my favorite pictures of Auggie. I still like Terry's smudge version of Auggie waaaaay more but this one is not bad I guess. I may have used too much of the filter but I'll have to practice with it more.

Every one of the "buzzed" effects I've seen you all do makes me envious.

He does have a Mac version but only for version 8 or 9. I'm running version 10.4.6, Tiger. I went ahead & downloaded it anyway, but alas, it does not run in Tiger.

His other downloads are so good & I love having them, at least. The cracked wall is great.

Oops. I'm getting Panos & Skyway Dancers mixed up. I did download simplifier from Skyways but as I said before...no good with Tiger.

The freebies on Panos are lovely. I think I'll pbly purchase the "old page" look.

Nancy, I don't think that you have used too much filter......I think that Auggie looks perfect!:)

Wow - your work is making me want to have this and try the buzz on Bridgette! Trouble is the trial version did not work for me. Robyn and Nancy did you buy the programme or are you using the trial version? I am thinking maybe if I buy it I can get it to work. When I click on the icon in plug-ins where it is installed I get a message saying that my Windows installer could not be accessed and this has something to do with security. After the trouble I had at the beginning of the year after downloading something and getting that adware I am leary of trying anything that does not work at once. I have two protection programmes now and must listen to what they say. So, should I buy this buzz? As if I don't have enough to work on!!!

Shari, I'm not using the trial version. It looks like your security programmes are blocking the installation of the trial version......I don't know that........ it's only a guess, someone with knowledge in that area could no doubt tell you.

Should you buy it?........well that's up to you, but there is plenty of other stuff to work with in Elements........ I guess it just depends on how much you really like the effect it creates.

I'm using the trial version of it. I'm not sure I'll buy it as it is a wonderful effect but the rare times I'll use it I have the trial version to work with. You can use it 20 or 30 times before it expires.

Robyn,
Thank you very much. He was hard to "buzz" because he is so dark in the ears. I miss him so much.:(
