Gallery go slow

Is this just me or is it happening to anyone else? It's taking ages to load the gallery. Doesn't matter if I click on the gallery link at the top or on someone's personal link from a post. If I do manage to get to a picture I can't view other pictures within someone's gallery, only the picture they have selected as the main one.

Glad to see it's not just with me. I can't seem to get into the subscribers area. I click on it and it just keeps loading without getting anywhere :confused:
Everything else seems to be fine. I checked the learning centre and that loads instantly, same as the PMs.

It's a shame because I haven't been on for a few day and now I finally have a couple of hours and it's sooooooooo slow......and I have cable so I'm used to clicking and getting (almost) instant results. Now I can imagine what it must be like to have a dial up connection :eek:

Same here.............frustrating, isn't it? We become so accustomed to clicking and just being there that when it goes haywire we grow very impatient....:(

I think that all this technology has turned us into impatient people. Remember the olden days when you wrote a letter by hand, posted it and sat back and relaxed in the knowledge that it could take up to three days for your letter to arrive, several days for the reply to be written and then another three days until the mailed reply would reach you.......now we dash off an e-mail with one click of the mouse and are extremely frustrated if we don't see a reply instantaneously in our inbox!

Although I am in daily telephone/fax/e-mail contact with my older children, every once in a while I take the time to write them a nice leisurely letter and pop it in the mail box. They tell me that the pleasure to be got from seeing a letter with my handwriting on is immeasureable:)
