chapters of vcds

I just bought the elements program and I made 5 slide shows, then put all 5 in a vcd project and burned the whole thing to cd. However, I cannot watch all 5 one after the other. After I watch one it always goes back to the main menu, and I have to select another one. Is there a way I can play all 5 in a row. I want to play it on a continuous loop at my parents wedding anniversary. Maybe I burned it wrong or set it up wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw your Thread and got interested in looking into it since I have concentrated on DVD rather than VCD until now.

First, I have some questions for you. What Elements do you have 3.0 or 4.0? How are you producing your VCD? Are you (1) creating the slideshows in Create as a Creations, then sending them to the VCD with menu where wmv writing and everything else is done automatically or (2) are you creating the slideshows in Create as Creations, using Output as wmv using the VCD profile, and then putting these wmv slideshows through the VCD with menu option.

Next, it sounds like you are trying to play these on a TV/DVD player?? Or, are you trying to watch them on the computer either (1) via the DAT files of the VCD with Windows Media Player or trying to play the VCD with menus on a separate program such as PowerDVD?

I will go into detail as to what I found once I know for sure what you have done. Do you have Nero software? Bottom line may be: to take your wmv slideshows (VCD profile) and take them to another software to achieve your goal as you described it.
