The travelling wall was just in my area.

I just created an page with 11 images - let me know what you think.

Some minor PSE cleanup on most.

This was a fairly small community - and I was totally amazed at the amount of people that were there at 8:00 pm on a Sunday evening.

Paul- Thanks for sharing. I've been to the Vietnam Memorial in DC several times, and it's just as moving everytime. You've captured that same feeling in your pictures.

That is a beautiful collection of images. You did an excellent job on the photos with the lighting conditions. I have two friends on that wall and my husband has two as well. We went to see it when it came to our area and it was so overwhelming. You could not walk up to it without feeling weak in the knees. The girl who designed it did a magnificent job. Thank you for sharing it.

Paul,
simply beautiful!!!
I'm glad to see the pride and respect the USA shows to its fallen.
I'm sorry to say that the UK seems to be losing its national pride.
Kev.

Paul,
Everytime the wall has visited southern Nevada I've been out of town. Your photo essay does it and those remembered justice. Thanks.

I wish to echo Snooze, I, too, as a Viet Nam Veteran, wish extend my thanks to you Paul. Very fitting and moving photo layout. I have several friends who have earned a place of everlasting memory on the Wall. Let us never forget those who gave of themselves in the name of Freedom. Again, Paul, thank you so much for sharing with us all.

Thanks everyone for the comments....

Eventually I'll buy a domain and web space and move everything to better layouts. I agree it would be better in a horizontal layout - but this is Google's free pages and pretty limited. Currently - it's free and I'm cheap...

I was overwhelmed at the amount of people present.

I really wanted to portray a feeling of emptiness, solitude, a "ghostliness" but the amount of people made this difficult. It was great to see this turnout - just blew my plans... Plus I couldn't stay 'till midnight.

BTW - I'm still working - changing - adding to this so stay tuned.
