My Dad asked me how he could save off the photos I e-mail him via photo elements but I couldn't answer his question. I know this may very with mail servers. He has sbcglobal if that makes a difference. When I sent him photos before it showed the photo in the e-mail and also had a link. Elements does all this extra packaging and maybe the individual photos cannot be extracted from that.
I was also wondering if it was possible to send him pieces of my catalog he may be interested in? I have PE4, he has PE3.

Right clicking on the image should let him save it as a jpg file although I usually send images to other people as email attachments to avoid the problems you an get by other peoples email program not recognizing the extra stuff that Elements adds when you send it as photomail.
The catalogs for 3 and 4 aren't compatible so that wouldn't work - also the catalog doesn't store the images only thumbnails. One thought would be to print contact sheets or a picture package as a PDF file (using the free and very useful utility CutePDF that someone on the forum introduced me to) and then send the pdf file which can be opened in Acrobat Reader (or with Elements). That's an easy way to send a lot of pictures that can be looked at and saved (although not as individual pictures or jpegs)

Yep, I checked some I have sent and if you right click on the image itself, Save As is there is an option.
