Hi,
the cat in this, Beegee, was found by its owner after a heavy rainstorm; on her driveway. She took it in and now it is the Boss.
A friend of hers took the photos and she asked if I could do a simple creation that she could have printed and framed. This is my effort.

Oh Kev, I'm not a cat person, but this is absolutely beautiful. . . makes me want to just run right out and get a cat to cuddle. I'm sure your friend's friend is going to love this.

Hi Kev ...
Oh that is nice and it should print really well. I like the way you have colour matched the background to the Beegee that works great. :)
By the way what a beautiful cat !!

Robyn,
as far as I know he is a semi professional and uses Nikon. What model, I don't know.
I would give my hind teeth to be able to take photographs of such clarity,
mind you, I did tweek the sharpness a little.
Kev:) :) :)

I am not at all a cat person, but I can still recognize good work!!! That is beautiful. I feel the same way about those images.....very crisp and clear. I esp. like the one with the cat standing. I would also like to be able to take such crisp, clean photos!

Nice job on that Kev. Simple, clean and great cat shots. He reminds me a lot of my late cat Bubba.

Very nice presentation and excellent photography!
I find most digital images require some tweaking for levels and sharpnes, especially if shot using raw. Sometimes shooting in JPG you can get by with a straight shot. Many folks underestimate the advantages of jpg. For most serious work, I use raw, but if I use the Fuji F-10, I am locked into jpg. I do not find that to be a problem. The difference is not as noticeable when you upload to the net or create a slide show for TV as when you generate a print of 11X14 or larger.
At any rate, your end result is quite pleasing to the eye! :)

Nita,
nice to know you like it.
Beegee's owner also has a dog and another cat.
Guess who's at bottom of the pecking order.
