Selected layer colour

I'm sure that this has been asked before but I've started working through the layers course and noticed that when Matt selects a layer it goes dark gray while mine goes blue. I don't recall seeing a Preference that changes the colour of a selected layer.
Not that it matters but I'm just curious :confused:

Wow - I just answered my own question. It's a Windows thing. Change the display settings in the Control Panel and you can change the highlighted colour. I changed mine to bright green and it looks terrible. Back to good old blue.

I had always put this down to me using a Mac and thought that maybe it was just the way the Windows one looks :confused:

Layer class Day 2 2mins 50 seconds ... he actually says click on the the Gray area and it will turn a darker Gray.

Ummm mines a white area and it turns Blue

I wonder if Matt's PC is set different ??

Wendy: It was Matt's calling it darker gray that fooled me too. I first thought maybe he was using a Mac ;) . In Windows you can change it to any colour you want so he must have a PC that has been modified from the default which in my case was blue. I might try dark gray for a change ;) .
