Anyone used a graduated neutral density filter on a digital camera? if so - what kind and where did you purchase it. Also - is it a true graduated neutral or is it one of the grey ones?
Thanks for any insights.

forgot to bring up circular polarizers - I've got one from my old film system - but on the digital - troubles getting in to focus. Are there special circular polarizers for digital cameras?

Bruce....
I use the Cokin System which as far as I can recall will only fit on SLR cameras. The only filters I use are the Grey Grads which are great for balancing exposures between sky and ground, which digital cameras are notorious at getting wrong.
As for polariser - digital cameras need a circular polariser as the linear type can mess up auto focus and exposure. I have one for the Cokin system but I'm not too impressed with how it fits into the holder - it does work well though.
One thing to keep in mind with grad filters and polarisers on SLR cameras. Some lenses physically rotate as they focus which means the grad and polarisers can become out of alignement. I have one lense that does this but have found the Cokin System rotates easily enough after focus.
