Wendy's Photo Album tutorial and her images

I'm new to the forum, although Wendy has already been so much help to me behind the scenes! I did this piece using her tutorial, and images from her gallery. The little statue is the Billiken - a good luck piece that is known as "The God of Things as they Ought to Be". My grandparents had one, and it's a fun family heirloom. I chuckled when I saw it in her gallery, and just thought "isn't that just the God of things as they SEEM to be" (her altered image).

I submit my work sheepishly, because I see such talent here...but we all have to start somewhere, eh?

You did a really good job on that. Billiken huh? St. Louis University uses the Billiken as its mascot. Never quite understood what one was before now.
