Took four shots to bring out Katrina's wrath and overlaid a panoramic. The shot of the house that was set down on the railroad tracks by Katrina actually tells the story by itself.

Roadrunner, great montage. Like you say the shot of the house on the railway line is a story on its own.

Great work but so sad. It truly was a disaster that the area will never fully recover from. A lot of evacuees came to Alton, IL from there and I volunteered at the shelter a few times. Met one really interesting person but most were homeless before the storm and would just as soon be left alone after as well.

Nancy, the area will eventually recover. Remember Cyclone Tracy that hit Darwin (Northern Territory, Australia) on Christmas Day (can't remember the year) - well Darwin was completely flattened but eventually recovered and now there is very little to see where Tracy wrecked havoc. So have faith, that area will recover

Things have a way of working out. Our friends who live in Diamon Head are doing fine. Their son and daughter-in-law got the full blast. Water rose to four geet in their house - 7 miles inland. They had to swim to a neighboring house that provided a second story. Their two dosgs tagged along and the gal swam with her cat (Sampson) in her back pack. They all survived, and their house is refurbished already.

All the neighbors helped oneanother and got things done!

Bice hearing from you guys and gals!
