The Billikin Images for Betsy ..

Hi Betsy ...

The images are now in my Gallery ..

No 1 ... is the original from Grant's Challenge
No 2 ... I made him into an Egg Cup
No 3 ... Added the Egg
No 4 ... Took the top off the Egg

If you sister does want the images then I will send all of them to you ... just pm me with your email address.

I have searched back in both this forum and the Adobe one but the threads are no longer there ... but I will email Grant and see who submitted the original image :)

I had such fun doing it and didn't know that it was called a Billikin.

Thanks so much for your trouble Wendy! I'm so happy to receive your reply.
I downloaded the images from the gallery, and I think the resolution is good enough for an idea I have. I'd like to do an 8x10 collage of the process you did, only the theme is going from "egg head" backwards, to the put together the "God of things as they OUGHT to be". Do you mind if I use all the images (personal use only)?

A copy of the original would be greaat, since I'm sure the resolution is much better (I can get 2x3s at about 200dpi). If it gets to be too much trouble though, don't worry!

I am so amazed at your work and creativity. I aspire to become an artist like you. I have just finished Matt's layers course and loved it. I'm beginning to understand how layers work in a new way. I'm watching the forum, and see you post kind replies often. Watch for me "mottcru" - I'm sure I'll have some doozy of questions!!

Just edit the thread you posted and take out your email address (I have copied it down) ... if you leave it on display then you may have spam sent to you and we don't want that :)

I will send you the copies I have ... they are slightly bigger but sadly I didn't keep the full sized ones just the ones I sent to Grant.

I don't mind you using the images and I am sure that your sister will love the montage ... do let us see it when you have finished. It really does sounds a great idea ... she is going to be so surprised :eek:

Now that you have finished the layers class why not try some of the tutorials in the subscriber area ... there are some good ones in the Video section and I have some posted in the written tutorials section ..

Thanks for the tip about the email address - now I understand why you said to pm it. I have done some of the videos and tutorials and find them such a great source of information.

I'll post the montage when it's finished. I'm sure my sister will love it.
