Wendy has been so gracious to share her expertise & create wonderful tutorials. I'm trying a couple a week. Today I tried the gold photoframe TUT & although my hinges need a lot of work, my first attempt wasn't too bad.

However, I'veen toying with ideas to use my wood grain designs, thus I decided to edit the gold photoframe, using my woodgrains & photos of my spouse's dog to create a Father's Day design.

I really didn't want the orange shade behind the design on the right, but all other colors didn't make it "pop". I'm open to ideas on how this can be improved.

Hi Nita ...

Oh you have done so well with the frame ... and I really like the idea of using aa wood effect. :)

I see what you mean about the right hand image but am stuck for any suggestions to change it. I think that the problem is stemming from the image itself ... its pretty dark so does need something bright to make it stand out.

Well done with the effect :)

Nina,

Very nice. Super job.

There's another effect that I have to put on my list. The list is getting longer and longer..........

I wish I could come up with something to place behind the embossed image on the right b/c it's an effect my friend likes, but... it's so dark, maybe I should just use another pic. in the frame
