Shelia,
Have you contacted Adobe Support? That would be a first place to start.
There are so many things that could be related to you uninstall/install or could be something totally unrelated, I would have no idea where to start trouble shooting that type of a problem:( Do let us know if you get it solved and if it was a problem with the program please.
Good Luck to you!

I'm having a similar issue. Premiere is maxing out my CPU when I try to burn discs. My computer has 1024 MB of RAM, and from everything I've heard, that should be plenty to run Premiere. (?????) I'm having lots of fun creating movies...I just can't share them with anyone because they won't burn to a disc! HELP!!!!!! Anyone else have this problem?

You dont' say what your specs are MyMTL, other than 1gb of RAM. Premiere Elements v2 needs at least a 2.4ghz processor and I wouldn't recommend under 3.0ghz myself. Even at that you processor will be maxed out, this is video editing you are talking about ;) a very processor and RAM hungry process.

Hi Chuck. I don't know alot about computers...but my tower says 200GB hard drive and it has an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+. Should this be sufficient to run Premiere? I've asked a few people and I get mixed answers. Most people say my computer should be able to handle it, but some (at Best Buy) said I need to buy more memory. I am just logging on tonight, and have not tried Kays helpful hints from last night yet. Hopefully I'll have good news to report!
Thanks!

I know you can run the program with your computer MTL, others are using the exact same configuration. It is not the fastest and will probably use all of the CPU it can get. 1gb of RAM is generally plenty, the only way to really speed things up is with a faster processor. You can help the program run faster by shutting down background processes that are eating valuable CPU and don't need to be running, that always helps.

Thanks Chuck. I'm beginning to wonder if there's another issue with either my Premiere or my PC...I can save the videos to my hard drive and burn them with NERO and have no problems. But I'd rather do it straight from Premier as the menus and stuff aren't the same. Definately a learning curve!!!!! Thanks again for your help!
