Hi I am having problems with video display

Hello Can anyone help me please I recently installed PE2.0 and I have no video displaying in program no matter what type of files I use ....any help on this matter would be greatly appreaciated ....:confused: thanks

Can you Add Media? Do you then see the video/still file in the Media Panel? Can you drag the file to the Timeline and see it there? Can you see the video in the Monitor Panel? Is it No to all of the above?

PrEl works best as an editor of files that it has captured itself. Files captured other ways MAY work, but there are frequent problems. You should be able to find more advice if you go to the Adobe Premiere Elements user-to-user forum (http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/?14@924.SnLLgf4Kq0h@.3bb574e6), as well.
