Hi,
All the creations Using this tut are great but everyone seems to fixed on using a Panorama.
This was a 10 x 8 image. I think it is just as effective as a panorama.

Hi Karen,
thanks.
I seem to recall that in the video Matt said the effect could be usen on any image. S I gave it a whirl.

Kev, just been crazy busy with work...but yesterday morning we woke up to a flooded basement (at least 4 inches of water )...by the time we found the problem and fixed it...many more inches were added. What a mess. Fixed now tho and things are slowly drying out. You guys don't really need me anyways :)

I can't believe you said that! This place wouldn't be "home" without you! You are such a valuable contributor. Maybe I haven't said, "Thank you" enough. So . . . thank you!

Yes Linda - I agree. And Jodi it was in large part because of you that I got my second Fuji and am really loving it. So sorry about your basement - know the feeling - has the insurance been notified and are the fans going? It's a mess - I hope your computer wasn't down there!

Oh...Jodi...I can SO sympathize with the water problem!!! That happened to me last summer - come home from a 4-week road trip to a submerged basement...then in my ski house in CO over my spring break - a complete tear out of EVERYTHING there. What a mess. Water can be such trouble!!! Good luck with your dry-out and hope your insurance is cooperative!!!

Very well done Kev! I've been looking at all the posts using Matt's TUT & I must say that I like the effect just as much on this 10x8!

Hi Jodi,
sorry to hear about your troubles, hope you get them sorted soon.
What's this about we don't need you?
You and Wendy are my heroes, when I first started using PSE you both helped me in my tentative struggles to learn.
Don't even think of leaving, we need your skill, advice and sometimes your pithy comments.

Thanks guys, we are renting and tho we do have renters insurance we did not have any damage so it didn't go that far. It was more of a pain in the butt inconvenience than anything else. My hub replaced the sub-pump and did some re-routing with the pipes. The price of the sup-pump was deducted from the rent. My husband is cheap labor. This is what happens when you rent from in-laws. As far as 'not needing me ' I was merely suggesting that you guys are doing sooooooo well without me. :) Tho I feel honored to be a part of such a wonderful piece of the net. This is the BEST place to be, none like it.

Jodie,
I can empathise. A year ago we had a burst pipe that they reckon had been burst for about 6 months with the water seeping into plasterwork and brickwork behind a cupboard. When they took the cupboard away it looked as if it had been attached to mud. The worst bit of the renovations was drying out the wall so they could redo everything. We had three enormous noisy dehumidifiers & a fan going in our very large open plan kitchen/morning room/playroom for 6 months sucking out every bit of moisture from the air. No windows open even in the heat of the summer and I had a permanent sore throat from it all. It makes me appreciate being able to let the fresh air in this year. Thank goodness it was all paid for by the insurance - they even reimbursed us for the electricity consumed by the dehumidifiers & fan! I kept having to escape to the computer room last year to get away from the noise & warmth - well that was my excuse to my husband;)

Jodi:
Sorry to hear that! Is that from all the rain we have been having in the Northeast lately or was it a different problem? Water damage can be a nightmare......is your basement a finished basement? If so, can I recommend that you get a restoration company in asap. They were wonderful when we had our lightning strike. Keep your chin up! We'll be thinking about you!;)
Kev:
Where is that lighthouse? Nice job using the tutorial. I collect lighthouses and that is one I have never seen.....nice job!

Colleen,
The lighthouse is in Scotland but where exactly, I don't know. Like a fool when I saved it, I just called it lighthouse.
I'll go through my files and see if I have one with the location on it.

Don't go nuts looking, I just thought it was a really interesing site. It looks like the lighthouse is really not far off the water. Or is it just my perception?

Colleen,
It wasn't far from the water but was pretty high up. It marked the narrow entrance from the sea to a loch.
There are treacherous rocks in those places.
