Hi,
I made an error in the title of a new thread.
Is there any way to edit it?
Kev.

Kev -- I think the only way to do that is DELETE the thread and make a new one.

Will,
thanks, that is what I thought.
Well, I 'll just have to apologise to Matt for calling him Mike.
Kev.

Wendy you are brilliant. All we need to do now is to remember what to do when we need it :D

Wendy,
tried that, it changes the title on the post but not the one in the main forum page.

Hi Kev ...

I just experimented and it only seems to change the the thread on the main forum page if there hasn't been any more post in the thread ..

First time I changed mine from"Test" to "Test to see if it will etc" ... and it worked then I posted another message in the thread. With the other message in there it now won't fully change the title.

Oh that is a shame :(

Wendy,
thanks for trying.
If you can't find a solution, I'll have to grin and bear it.

Wendy,
thanks.
I don't think Matt will be too upset, he'll probably put it down to my senility!

Wendy

Wendy,
no, the Irish version is Kevin. I think my Mam just wanted to be a bit different, God Bless Her.
Oh, I slipped back into my Lancashire then, I haven't called her that for a long time.
Kev:) :)

Colleen,
it would be handy to be able to edit the title.
Let's hope someone comes up with an answer.

Wendy,
you're right I'm still a red rose man.
No prejudices against those people on the wrong side of the Pennines but I won't have white roses in my garden.

Kevan -- Imagine having to live with the mistake your mom makes when in the pain of childbirth she is asked for the child's name and she shouts out "Normal" rather than "Norman" and that's what goes on record. I'm speaking of my grandfather ... not me... thank goodness!!! Of course, it got corrected later. Still...

Mike - I've always liked that name. That's why I named my son Eric. :D Just giving you a hard time. The name is good. I'm sure Matt will understand and not be heartbroken to be associated with such a good chap.

Honest to goodness I swear on my childrens head there is a man that I know of named Void. I used to work at the courthouse in the felony section and he was a defendant that was charged with burglary. We often used to wonder how his mother came up with that name.

I really don't know - it's sad. We all speculated that his mother thought if she wrote Void on the birth certificate he would go away. :D :D

Wendy,
now that does take me back, a pair of clogs.
I only ever had one pair and they had a metal clasp not laces.
Kev.

Hi Kev ...

I well remember my Grandfather wearing clogs and as I child I had a pair too ... they were the clasp variety.

These clogs were made by a local clogmaker for my Grandfather to send to his Sister who emigrated to America ... they are tiny little ones and they fit inside a matchbox :)

Wendy,
what a wonderful heirloom!
It seems that clogs are having a revival, very elegantly designed ones are selling well. they say they are good for the posture and for the feet too.
