Hi - I have not been on for several days as unfortunately I have had many pressing things to get done. So tonight I thought I would give myself a treat and see what has been happening. I cannot get into gallery or subscriber area. Is something wrong I don't know about? Thanks.

I'm having trouble too, tried to look at the new tuts and the subscriber log in just stalled out. They must be so good it's giving the servers a hard time.

Same here ... maybe they are doing some some work on the subscriber area ?

Hopefully it will be working later today :)

Wish I could say it was just the Subscriber area for me.......it's the whole site though. Takes forever to load anywhere, and I keep getting kicked out, having to re-log in. Hope things smooth out soon. Guess it just goes to show how spoiled a person gets when things run so well all the time........*S*.

Might just have to check back later.

Phew - I thought it was me. Been trying - without success - to log on all morning. I was beginning to get panicky until I jumped over to DH's computer and same thing happened.

Everything seems ok now though.

I just logged in without any problems. I guess they've got it resolved.

Yes - I see things are working now - however - another strange thing is that none of the posts from this tread turned up in my e-mail. If I had not looked here I would not have known there were any replies. Wow - that is what I get for not turning on my computer for a few days!!!

Chas and what a lovely picture it is - well done.

I am at my son's place in Perth and he runs Norton and I have been blaming that for making things so slow :D

Hi Karen,
Thanks for the compliment. By the way, have you calibrated your display?
Best regards,
Chas

Chas, I have had a fiddle but not what you would call "calibrate". Why do you ask?

Hi Karen,
You asked about it in a previous thread. I was wondering if my instructions were adequate.

Chas, I had forgotten about that thread :D . I do not have the necessary software equipment to do a proper calibration and can't justify spending more money on PSE at the moment.

Karen,
Don't forget about Adobe Gamma.....I used it for a few years before I bought Colorvision's Spyder II.Adobe Gamma will get you in the ballpark.

Chas, I was under the impression that you did not use Adobe Gamma for LCD screens - am I mistaken?

Karen,
I never have used Adobe Gamma on my LCD.....used it on my CRT though. Colorvision Spyder II was installed when I got my new computer with LCD display.
