Adobe Downloader/Organizer with RAW -- PSE 3

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted here in a quite a while -- been trying to teach myself some of the various tools in PSE 3. I use a fairly minimal amount of post process, so am taking my time with it.

Lately, I just bought a new camera (Canon 30D) -- so I downloaded the newest RAW plug-in update from the Adobe site. It seems to be working fine with the Editor now -- but I have to use another program for downloading as the Downloader for the organizer is not recognizing the files. I know some don't like the Organizer, but I really do :-), so was hoping some might have some suggestions for me to try. If I need to delete or move files (I have read a few of the threads, but not seen anything related to the organizer) - please be very specific as to what I may need to do as I'm not very technologically oriented when it comes to computereze. :-(

Are you sure you downloaded the correct version of the Adobe Camera Raw converter. It looks like the 30D was added in v. 3.4.

I can only say that the downloader for photos to Organizer works fine for raw photos from my Nikon D50. So I hope you can find a solution - it should be workable.

Yes, Jon, I downloaded the correct version - it is reading the files just fine if they are in a folder and I try to open them in PSE 3 editor. It just seems to be conflicting in the Organizer.
