Kimi what an interesting flower you have added to your gallery. Do you know what it is, it is gorgeous. What a great shot.

Kimi, that MUST be an "alien" flower :eek: . . . so which planet have you been visiting? Doesn't look like anything I've ever seen. But it's beautiful, and you've captured it well!

It looks like a Passion Flower :)
I grew one a few years ago and they are really facinating ... here is some information on them and how they are got the name:

What an amazing flower. I looked at it earlier in the galleries and thought it was a PSE manufactured flower.......didn't realise that it was a REAL flower!

It may well be a passion flower. My hubby showed it to me, we have a wild field in the back of our house. It is growing on a vine and it looks like it would be very fast growing. There are 2 or 3 plants and this weekend he is going to did them up and move them into our yard. :D
I did nothing to the picture but add my trusty black t-shirt.

That is a gorgeous shot! Yes - it is a passion flower. We grow them every year on our pool deck in planters. Great job!
Wendy - I bought a yard of black felt that I use for backgrounds. It's big enough to drape and clip to fences and such and does not reflect any light so I get good saturation of the black.
