Here are some first trys at various applications using PSE 3. I tried a couple of composits, frames and some texture applications. Also corrected Harley Girl's (My dog) Blue Eye problem. I hope these are not too basic for you advanced folks. I'm just an old dog trying to learn ne tricks!

Roadrunner, nothing is ever too basic on this forum :). The two collages are great and tell a story of both towns. Well done.
As for being an "old dog"; I am one of the OWLS - older, wiser, larger and slower :D

Good job trying out all these techniques! I like the manatee too, and the texturized panther.

Nice job on those. You are off to a great start. The manatee is my favorite. Love those big things.

Pretty darn good for first tries. I love the manatee. Was that at Silver Springs?

Howdy, and thanks for the feedback; I appreciate the encouragement.
Many seem interested in the Manatee; that photo was taken at the Homosassa Wildlife Refuge in Homosassa Springs, FL. You can get some great bird shots as well, but the underwater tank is a great way to get marine shots without getting wet. :D
Since this photo was taqaken with a small (2 MPX) camera, the Nikon CoolPix 950, Photoshop Elements 2 (Now PSE 3) helped me out tremendously. Actually my entry into Digital was with the old Picture Publisher software and the CoolPix 950. I also used an Olympus Film Scanner which didn't offer enough quality. So I stuck with my camera aplication as a main stay.
