When i draw my circle with the elipse tool and the shift key this is what happens . Everything turns pinlk and the circle shows up on every layer
as a transparent image. Is there any way I can send a picture to the forum? I took a screen shot but couldn't drag it into this message.

I tried to do the project again and this time I realized that I had not cmd clicked on the layer to select it( i.e,,The picture of the two children)...although I was able to put the white outline around it without it being selected.
This time when I cmd clicked the picture the same thing happened as described above. A pink overlay came over all the layers and the tansparent outline of the boys picture showed up in all the layers.
When I went to edit to undo it said "undo load selection"???????
I didn;t have any trouble doing this project before. Just trying to review!

Hi meribee ...
You can use Pixentral to post images.
First resize your image using "save for web"
Set the longest side to 750 pixels and click on Apply
then adjust the quality slider until the image is around 150K.
and save it with a new name.
http://www.pixentral.com/index.php
Follow the instructions on the site and then when your image is uploaded copy the URL from just above the image and paste it into a message here :)

Hi Meribee ..
Here are some instruction on how to use Resize for Web :)
Resize using Save for Web:
Open your image then do File>Save for Web
When the Save for Web dialogue box come up there is a section over on the bottom right hand side where you can change the pixels size (see A) if you tick Constrain Proportions then you only need to change the longest side then just click on Apply. Next take a look at the new size (B) ... if it is still too big then use the quality slider (C) until the size is OK

Ah ... Sorry I have only just realised that you are a Mac user ... so just click on the Elements icon in your dock (Windows users can start up in either the Editor or the Organiser but us Mac users just have the Editor :) )

I have just taken a look at your image and I'm just not sure what is going on in there ... try resetting the tool and see what happens when you use it this time.

Hi meribee ...
When Elements does strange things that often correct it ... glad that you are now back to normal.
It almost looks as if you had a rubylith mask applied to all the layers ...
