I am tutoring someone who is using PhotoShop Elements 2 on WIN XP Home. She wants to bend photos around a cylindrical surface for a project she has in mind. The filter > Render > 3D Transform seems to randomly stop working. I've re-installed the plugins, and someone else re-installed the entire PSE 2 program.
Would appreciate insight as to what might be going on.
Thanks,
Deb

Deb,
You could try deleting the preferences file...
Hold down the CTRL, ALT and SHIFT keys together, click on the Elements start up icon. Keep holding these keys until a windows comes up asking if you want to delete Settings, select Yes.
You can also use the shear filter to bend images and text around cylinders...

Deb,
3D Transform is not the easiest thing to use .. it can give somewhat unexpected results and sometimes it does look as if it hasn't done anything at all.
Try Filter>Distort>Shear (as Mike suggested) it is much easier to control. One thing about it that it will only bend things in one direction so as a workaround you have to rotate the layer prior to using it ... then again after you have used it.
